The glamorous actress Celina Jaitley basked in the afterglow of success when she won the Miss India crown. Basics on Celina Celina Jaitley was born on 9th June 1981 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her father was in the Indian Army while her mother was a child psychologist and a beauty queen herself. Her brother followed their father’s lead and joined the Indian Army. Celina completed her graduation from Indira Gandhi National Open University in Commerce. She worked in marketing at a cellphone company in Kolkata. She participated in a local beauty contest on impulse and won it, motivating her to sign up for the Miss India contest. This was a smart move as she won the crown and placed fourth from the top at the Miss Universe contest. She won MTV’s Most Wanted slot around this time.
