Javed Jaffrey Biography
<p>Javed Jaffery is an actor in Bollywood and television. He is hosting a popular dance show<br />called Boogie woogie since 1996 on Sony Entertainment Television and has also done the commentry for the teleision show <br />Takeshi's Castle.<br /><br /><strong>Basics</strong><br />Javed Jaffrey was born to Jagdeep (Syed Jawaher Ali Jaffrey) the famous comedian. He was born in Mumbai on 4 December 1959.<br />Javed's daughter Fatima Javed lives in the USA.<br /><br /><strong>Professional</strong><br />Javed Jaffrey has played many roles in Hindi movies and serials. He started his filmy career with Laakhan in 1979 and <br />played a negative role in Meri Jung (1985). He has acted in more than 30 movies out of which the most famous <br />ones are: Singh Is Kinng, Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Dhamaal and Kambakth Ishq. Javed is known for his comic roles<br />and his deadpan expressions and has received an award for Salaam Namaste for Best Performance in a Comic Role (2006).<br /><br />He anchored a show called Videocon Flashback. His performance in Timex Timepass was also notable.<br /><br />Javed owes his popularity to the Maggi tomato ketchup advertisements he was part of in the beginning of his career.</p>
