Kunal Kapoor with his lean build, messy hair, thoughtful eyes and a maverick air about him is definitely not the regular guy next door, unless you get really lucky.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Basics on Kunal</span><br />Kunal Kapoor was born on October 18th 1975. With a strong passion for theater and movies, he became part of Naseeruddin Shah&rsquo;s theater group Motley and then worked as an assistant director for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra&rsquo;s Aks. <br /><br />He took acting from the stage to the movie screen. The resulting popularity saw him in ads like Indian Terrain and Thums Up. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kunal Kapoor&rsquo;s Movies</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2004</span>&nbsp; Kunal Kapoor&rsquo;s first movie was with the talented Tabu in M.F Hussain&rsquo;s Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities as Kaameshwar.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2006</span>&nbsp; Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra&rsquo;s Rang De Basanti made him commercially viable. His role as Aslam earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Best Supporting Award. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2007&nbsp;</span> The year wasn&rsquo;t a great one as none of his movies did well. His releases were Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Aaja Nacchle and Hattrick. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2008</span>&nbsp; In the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bachna Hai Haseeno he played Minissha Lamba&rsquo;s husband. Shyam Benegal&rsquo;s Welcome to Sajjanpur was fresh and got rave reviews. Kunal played Banshi Ram in the movie. He was the voice of Rama in the animated movie Mahayoddha Rama. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">2009</span>&nbsp; His next release is Rahul Dholakia&rsquo;s Lamhaa with Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu and a movie with Anurag Basu based on the comicbook hero Doga.<br /><br />
