Samir Karnik - Biography

Sameer Karnik is an Indian Bollywood director, producer and writer. As a Director and Producer: Sameer Karnik made his directorial debut film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na(2004) starring superstars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh  Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi. And his second movie was Nanhe Jaisalmer (2007), which did not do well at the box office. In 2008 he produced and directed a movie called Heroes, starring actors like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Dino Morea, Riya Sen and Vatsal Seth. Even this movie did not gain much popularity. His latest movie is the Bobby Deol and Kangana Ranaut starrer Vaada raha... i promise (2009). As a Writer: He has written the story and dialogues for some of his movies namely Kyon Ho Gaya Na (2004) Nanhe Jaisalmer (2007) and Heroes (2008).
