Sikander Kher Biography
Sikander Kher is another star son waiting to make a name for himself in Bollywood.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Basics</span><br />Indian actor Sikander Kher is the son of Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher. He started his film career with Woodstock Villa (2008) and while he was in high school he also assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Devdas.<br /><br />His own&nbsp;father is Gautam Berry. Kirron divorced him in 1985 and married Anupam Kher. Sikander loved acting since his childhood and was very much influenced by his family. He and Anupam did not have problem adjusting with each other as they are more like friends than father and son.<br /><br />After finishing his schooling he started working as an assistant for movies. He assisted Yash Chopra for Dil To Pagal Hai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Devdas. Along with Uday Chopra and other celebrity children like Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan, he also attended his father&rsquo;s workshop and then in order to have a degree in hand he did a six months&nbsp;course at the National School of Drama. He has also become a member of the International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film &amp; Television, Noida Film City.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Movies</span><br />Sikander has done only two movies. His first movie was Woodstock Villa (2008) as Sameer and then Summer 2007 (2008) as Rahul. The role played by Saif Ali Khan in Dil Chahta Hai was earlier offered to him but he rejected the offer. He was very impressed by Sanjay Gupta&rsquo;s story of Woodstock Villa (2008) and did the movie. The review of this movie by Hindustan Times said that Sikander had the potential but could not really show it all because of the films limited screenplay and direction.<br /><br />
