Suchitra Pillai-Malik Biography
<br />Suchitra Pillai-Malik is a Bollywood actress, model, anchor and veejay. She has also tried her hand in television serials like Hip Hip Hurray and Raahein.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">BASICS</span><br />Suchitra Pillai-Mlaik is a graduate in electronic engineering. While in school and college she was interested in co curricular activities and amateur theatre. She got married just after she finished her studies, and went to London. She chose modelling as her career though she could have got a very good job as an electronic engineer.<br /><br />Suchitra divorced her husband and remarried on May 20, 2005 to Lars Kjeldsen. <br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">CAREER</span><br />Suchitra Pillai got the offer for the lead role in a French film, Le Prix D’Une Femma (1993). She also got an opportunity to work in an English film called Guru In Seven. She returned back to Mumbai in 1997 and became a VJ on Channel [V] and was seen on shows like Simply South, Red Alert and Cabaret Cabaret.<br /><br />She has done small roles in many movies such as Dasvidhaniya, Page3, Laga Chunri Main Daag, Fashion, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Marigold: An Adventure in India, 88 Antop Hill and Dil Chahta Hai.<br /><br />Suchitra will be seen in the Fardeen Khan and Sushmita Sen starrer Dulha Mil Gaya in 2009.<br /><br />
