Vidya Malvade - Biography

Vidya Malvade dabbled in law and as an air hostess before acting. After many ups and downs, a hockey stick proved lucky as she created quite a stir in Chak De India. Basics on Vidya Vidya Malvade studied law. She worked as an air hostess. She was married to the pilot Captain Arvind Singh Bagga, who died when the Alliance Air Flight 7412 crashed into a building in Patna. Vidya worked in many commercials including one with Shah Rukh Khan for Santro.   Vidya Malvade’s Movies 2003  Vidya Malvade made her debut in Vikram Bhatt’s Inteha with Ashmit Patel that did not do well. 2005  Her second movie Mashooka also did not fare well. 2007  She joined the Chak De India hockey team as the newly wed Vidya Sharma, a goalie who has to decide between the game and family. 2008  Vidya played Sanjay Dutt’s wife in Sanjay Gadhvi’s Kidnap which didn’t sit well with the critics or earn big at the box office. 2009  She will be seen with Siddharth in Striker, a story about a carom player and Bollywood Blues.
